PURPOSE: Gitelman's syndrome (GS) presents normo-hypotension and absence of cardiovascular-renal remodeling despite high angiotensin II (Ang II), activation of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and is a human model of endogenous antagonism of Ang II signaling, opposite to hypertension.
