Noodle displays records from the Helena Literature Corpus with source identity, canonical links, and retrieval receipts where available.

Literature

PubMed supplies the primary bibliographic records. Europe PMC and OpenAlex add publication coverage under the Literature Corpus source admission rules. Literature Mining owns source convergence, deduplication, and canonical work identity.

Record identity

A record may carry a PMID, DOI, PMCID, canonical source URLs, authors, journal, publication date, and source-indexed entity mentions. A prepared page also records its record version, manifest version, corpus timestamp, and source receipt.

Human Phenotype Ontology

This service uses the Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO). Release 2025-01-16. HPO license and acknowledgement terms. HPO project citation.

Genomic sources

This service uses project-generated Ensembl gene identifiers, symbols, and reference coordinates. release 113. Ensembl terms and data policy. Ensembl citation guidance. Presented with Ensembl source attribution and release provenance; third-party assertions keep their own source labels.

This service uses public ClinVar variant-classification data and preserves the reported submitter attribution. ClinVar terms and data policy. ClinVar citation guidance. ClinVar classifications remain attributed source assertions and are never converted into Noodle clinical conclusions.

This service includes primary data from gnomAD. v4.1. gnomAD terms and data policy. gnomAD citation guidance. Presented with gnomAD source attribution and version provenance; third-party annotations keep separate source labels.

Freshness and corrections

Freshness describes the source snapshot used to build a page, not a guarantee that the underlying science is current or correct. Retractions and corrections are displayed when the source projection provides them. A stale or unknown prepared record fails the indexing gate.

Public data only

The public Noodle interface contains no patient, session, or operator data. It does not evaluate patient context.
