OBJECTIVE: Uterinesarcomas comprise three main types: carcinosarcomas, leiomyosarcomas, and endometrial stromal sarcomas. Carcinosarcomas are highly aggressive neoplasms with a biphasic histology of carcinomatous and sarcomatous elements.
