<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> White matter hyperintensity (WMH) is strongly correlated with age-related dementia and hypertension, but its pathogenesis remains obscure. GWAS identified TRIM47 at 17q25 locus as a top genetic risk factor for WMH formation.
