<h4>BACKGROUND</h4> Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease driven by macrophages (MØ). Protein Kinase C – epsilon (PKCɛ) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in diverse cellular processes including migration, growth, differentiation, and survival.
