To determine if the MCC, DCC or p53 gene is associated with susceptibility to hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), these genes in normal cells from 12 HNPCC patients were analysed by polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism analysis.
