UNLABELLED: Essentials Endothelial protein C receptor (EPCR) promotes diabetic nephropathy (DN) outcome improvement. Renal expression and shedding of EPCR were measured in diabetic patients with or without DN. Inhibition of metalloproteinase-driven EPCR shedding restored glomerular endothelium phenotype.
