PURPOSE: Activation of phosphatidylinositol 3'-kinase pathway is implicated in the pathogenesis of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). The genetic change in phosphatidylinositol 3'-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA) in MCL has not been identified.
