One of the most serious problems in cancer chemotherapy is the acquired drug resistance of tumor cells. In order to investigate the mechanism of acquired resistance to 1-(4-amino-2-methyl-5-pyrimidinyl)methyl-3-(2-chloroethyl)-3-nitrosourea hydrochloride (ACNU), nine resistant cells were isolated from rat gliosarcoma 9L cells and characterized.
