Spontaneous and induced mutations at the hypoxanthine guanine phosphoribosyl transferase locus have been measured in cultured human lymphoblastoid (TK6) cell populations under conditions in which cellular glutathione has been severely depleted by overnight treatment with buthionine-S,R-sulfoximine.
