Dendritic cell (DC) dysfunctions exacerbate intestinal pathologies. However, the mechanisms compromising DC-mediated immune controls remain unclear. We found that intestinal DCs from mice subjected to experimental colitis possessed heightened non-canonical NF-κB signaling, which activates the RelB:p52 heterodimer.
