Cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) for double-stranded RNA (RIG-I/MDA5) are key mediators of anti-viral responses. PRR agonists, such as dsRNA oncolytic Reovirus type 3 Dearing (Rt3D), potently activate RNA sensors.
