<h4>SUMMARY</h4> Oligodendrocyte lineage cells (OLCs) are lost in many CNS diseases. Here, we investigate the generation of new OLCs via ectopic expression of Sox10, Olig2 or Nkx6 . 2 in mouse postnatal astrocytes.
