We previously reported cell cycle-dependent negative regulation of p185neu (decreased tyrosine phosphorylation and kinase activity, with electrophoretic mobility retarded by serine/threonine phosphorylation) in M phase and the escape of mutation-activated p185neu* from this regulation.
