Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are well-known for their mutagenic and carcinogenic effects. Benzo[b]fluoranthene (BbF) is one of 16 PAHs prioritized by the US Environmental Protection Agency for toxicological evaluation due to pervasive human exposure.
