The SWI/SNF ATP-dependent chromatin-remodeling complex is an important evolutionarily conserved regulator of cell cycle progression. It associates with the Retinoblastoma (pRb)/HDAC/E2F/DP transcription complex to modulate cell cycle-dependent gene expression.
