In this paper, we present a novel feature allocation model to describe tumor heterogeneity (TH) using next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Taking a Bayesian approach, we extend the Indian buffet process (IBP) to define a class of nonparametric models, the categorical IBP (cIBP).
