BACKGROUND & AIMS: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) interacts with apolipoproteins B (apoB) and E (apoE) to form infectious lipoviral particles (LVP). Response to peginterferon is influenced by interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) and IL28B genotype.
