Chlorpyrifos (CPF) is a widely used organophosphorus (OP) pesticide. CPF is bioactivated by cytochrome P450s (CYPs) to the potent cholinesterase inhibitor chlorpyrifos oxon (CPF-O) or detoxified to 3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinol (TCPy).
