Silnoon (Sln) is a monocarboxylate transporter (MCT) that mediates active transport of metabolic monocarboxylates such as butyrate and lactate. Here, we identify Sln as a novel LKB1-interacting protein using Drosophila melanogaster genetic modifier screening.
