OBJECTIVE: To apply linkage disequilibrium (LD) maps to associations studies with high throughput single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). METHODS: Seven hundred and fifty-four SNPs were genotyped in 160 Shanghai Chinese. LD maps were constructed in cases and controls separately.
