Gene expression and RNA interference phenotypes were investigated for a Caenorhabditis elegans homologue (Ce-RCQ-5) of human RecQ5 protein. Expression of the mRNA was observed by in situ hybridization from earliest embryogenesis and gradually decreased during late embryogenesis.
