The Nagoya-Shibata-Yasuda (NSY) mouse is an inbred strain with spontaneous development of type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the mode of inheritance of various phenotypes related to diabetes in this strain.
