PARIS, a substrate of Parkin, accumulates in Parkinson’s disease and promotes disease progression. Here, we demonstrate that PARIS also contributes to Alzheimer’s disease by elevating STAT3 transcriptional activity, thereby inducing tau pathology, hippocampal atrophy, and glial activation.
