<h4>Summary</h4> Isoprenoid biosynthesis is essential for Plasmodium falciparum (malaria) parasites and contains multiple validated antimalarial drug targets, including a bifunctional farnesyl and geranylgeranyl diphosphate synthase (FPPS/GGPPS).
