<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Nucleotide excision repair (NER) is one of the main DNA repair pathways that protect cells against genomic damage. Disruption of this pathway can contribute to the development of cancer and accelerate aging. Tumors deficient in NER are more sensitive to cisplatin treatment.
