<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> The inosine triphosphate pyrophosphatase (ITPase) enzyme restricts levels of the non-canonical nucleotides (deoxy)inosine triphosphate (dITP/ITP) and prevents their aberrant misincorporation into nucleic acids.
