Activated PI3Kdelta Syndrome (APDS) is immunodeficiency caused by a heterozygous gain-of-function mutation (E1021K) in the PIK3CD gene, encoding for the p110delta catalytic subunit of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K).
