<title>Abstract</title><p>T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is an aggressive lymphoid neoplasm resulting from the malignant transformation of T-cell progenitors. T-ALL leukemogenesis is strongly influenced by its developmental origins.<italic>NOTCH1</italic>, a critical regulator of early thymocyte development, is mutated in ~ 60% of T-ALL.
