<title>Abstract</title> <p>Age-related cognitive decline represents a major and unresolved challenge of human aging. Here, we identify the NAD⁺-consuming enzyme CD38 as a central regulator of cognitive aging acting through a choroid plexus–cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)–hippocampus axis.
