<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Peroxisomes are membrane enclosed organelles hosting diverse metabolic processes in eukaryotic cells. Having no protein synthetic abilities, peroxisomes import all required enzymes from the cytosol through a peroxin (pex) import system.
