Autoinflammatory diseases (AIDs) are defined as abnormal activation of the innate immune system leading to spontaneous and uncontrolled inflammation. The AIDs affect bone tissue and lead to chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO). However, the etiology and treatment of CRMO remain elusive.
