PTP-BAS is a membrane-associated protein tyrosine phosphatase containing a band-4.1 homology region and five PDZ (PSD-95 Dlg ZO-1) [discs-large homology region ('DHR')/Gly-Leu-Gly-Phe ('GLGF')] domains.
