Childhood Hodgkin's disease has a high cure rate but second cancers are common, related to treatment and perhaps genetic predisposition. The glycophorin A (GPA) mutation assay measures the frequency of NO and NN mutant erythrocytes of MN blood-group heterozygous individuals.
