Streptomyces bacteria have complex life cycles involving hyphal growth, sporulation and the production of diverse specialised metabolites, including antibiotics. In this study, we investigated the role of the highly conserved orphan response regulator OrrA in Streptomyces venezuelae NRRL B-65442.
