Neointima formation, characterized by similarities to tumor-like growth, plays a pivotal role in the progression of vascular occlusive diseases. Oroxylin A (OroA), a bioactive flavonoid from Scutellaria roots, shows protective effects against cardiovascular diseases and cancers.
