Intratumor heterogeneity (ITH) results from accumulation of somatic mutations in the fractions of successive cancer cell generations. We aimed to use deep sequencing to investigate ITH in colorectal tumors with particular emphasis on variants in oncogenes (ONC) and tumor suppressor genes (TSG).
