The telomere repeats containing RNA (TERRA) is transcribed from the C-rich strand of telomere DNA and comprises of UUAGGG nucleotides repeats in humans. The TERRA RNA repeats can exist in single stranded, RNA-DNA hybrid and G-quadruplex forms in the cell.
