In the preceding manuscript [ Moreau et al. 2018 , 10.1021/acs.jmedchem.7b01691 ] we described a successful fragment-based lead discovery (FBLD) strategy for discovery of bacterial phosphopantetheine adenylyltransferase inhibitors (PPAT, CoaD).
