<title>Abstract</title> <p>Using computer aided drug design we developed a new antibiotic class with a unique structure versus holo-acyl carrier protein synthase (AcpS). AcpS is a highly conserved enzyme essential for bacterial survival that catalyzes the first step in lipid synthesis.
