Accumulation of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the displacement loop (D-loop) of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) may be associated with an increased cancer risk. We investigated the non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) risk profile of D-loop SNPs in a case-control study.
