Artemisinins induce drug metabolism through the activation of the pregnane X receptor (PXR) in vitro. Here, we report the resequencing and genotyping of PXR variants in 75 Vietnamese individuals previously characterized for CYP3A enzyme activity after artemisinin exposure.
