Breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) is a half-molecule ATP-binding cassette transporter that forms a functional homodimer and pumps out various anticancer agents, such as 7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin, topotecan, mitoxantrone and flavopiridol, from cells.
