AIM: To type the HLA-DR DNA for renal transplantation by PCR with sequence specific primers (PCR-SSP). METHODS: According to nucleotide sequences of HLA-DR, 16 pairs of specific primers and a pair of positive control primers were designed and synthesized for PCR-SSP.
