Acid sensing ion channel (ASIC)2 belongs to the amiloride-sensitive Na(+)-channel/ degenerin family. Our previous studies suggested that differential regulation of ASIC2 expression occurs between high-grade glial-derived tumor cells and normal astrocytes.
