BACKGROUND: Hereditary predisposition to develop neuroblastoma segregates as an autosomal dominant Mendelian trait. PROCEDURE: We have performed linkage analysis on 10 families with neuroblastoma to localize a hereditary neuroblastoma predisposition gene (HNB1).
