<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> NLRP1 is an inflammasome sensor protein expressed in barrier tissues of humans. Its activation in response to microbes or cellular stress triggers a cascade of molecular events, leading up to IL1β-driven inflammation and pyroptosis.
