<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> The urgent need for effective treatments against emerging viral diseases, driven by drug-resistant strains and new viral variants, remains critical. We focus on inhibiting the human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase ( Hs DHODH), one of the enzymes in charge of pyrimidine nucleotide synthesis.
