Deubiquitylases (DUBs) are crucial in cell signalling and are often regulated by interactions within protein complexes. The BRCC36 isopeptidase complex (BRISC) regulates inflammatory signalling by cleaving K63-linked polyubiquitin chains on Type I interferon receptors (IFNAR1).
