3-(5’-isopropyl-6’-hydroxyphenyl)-3-trifluoromethyl-diazirine (photofol), a new drug developed in our laboratory, is structurally homologus to the general anaesthetic propofol with one of its isopropyl groups being substituted for a trifluoromethyl-diazirine group.
